Who we are

Tru Consulting is owned and operated by TaNola and Shelbert Williams.

TaNola brings more than 25 years in business and over 20 years in accounting. She has been serving clients since 2015 and leads the firm’s business services — bookkeeping, accounting, consulting, and business entity filings.

Shelbert has prepared documents for individual clients since 2019. He handles our individual services, helping people get their paperwork completed accurately and on time.

Working directly with an owner

We formally established Tru Consulting in 2026, but the work goes back much further. What hasn’t changed is who does it: when you hire us, you work directly with an owner. No junior associate, no rotating account team. Small businesses get handed off constantly, and the person who finally understands your operation is rarely the one still handling it a year later. That doesn’t happen here.

Based in Wichita

We’re local, and that means something. This is our community too — we have a stake in its businesses doing well, and we take pride in the part we play in that.
